Formula
Depreciation = price × (1 − resale %)
Running = years × (fuel + km × maintenance + insurance + other)
TCO = (Depreciation + Running) × vehicles
Assumptions & limits
- No discounting or financing interest; costs are in today's money.
- Driver wages are excluded.
Worked example
Depreciation 22,750 + 4 × (6,120 + 2,000 + 1,500 + 800) = 64,430 per vehicle × 10 = 644,300.
