Formula
Area = Perimeter × Height − Openings
Litres = Area × Coats ÷ Coverage
Assumptions & limits
- Coverage on the tin is for smooth, primed surfaces; rough or porous walls need more.
Worked example
16 × 2.6 − 4 = 37.6 m² × 2 ÷ 10 = 7.52 L.
