Formula
Pieces = ⌈Good qty × (1 + spoilage)⌉
Total = setup + pieces × (material + ink) + pieces ÷ speed × rate
Unit cost = Total ÷ good qty
Assumptions & limits
- Finishing (cutting, folding, binding) is not included.
- Unit cost falls with quantity as setup is spread.
Worked example
10,400 pieces: 250 + 520 + 1.3 h × 90 (117) = 887.00 → 0.0887 each.
