kg/h = width (m) × layers × thickness (µm) × density × speed (m/min) × 0.06
Assumptions & limits
- Net film output; edge trim and start-up scrap are not deducted.
- Check the result against extruder and die rated capacity.
Worked example
1 × 2 × 50 × 0.92 × 30 × 0.06 = 165.6 kg/h × 21.6 h = 3,577 kg/day.
