Formula
Dosage % = target % ÷ concentration % × 100
Masterbatch kg = batch × dosage
LDR = 1 : (100 ÷ dosage − 1)
Assumptions & limits
- Carrier resin in the masterbatch is counted as part of the base resin.
Worked example
2 ÷ 40 = 5% dosage → 25 kg masterbatch + 475 kg resin (LDR 1:19).
