Formula
Materials = Σ unit price × usage
Cost per pack = Materials × (1 + waste) + labour
Assumptions & limits
- Fractional usage spreads shared items (e.g. 1 shipper per 12 packs = 0.0833).
- Example lines: carton, labels, tape, shipper case.
Worked example
0.35 + 0.08 + 0.012 + 0.04998 = 0.49198 × 1.03 + 0.05 = 0.5567 per pack.
