Formula
Product rate = Target nutrient ÷ nutrient %
Total = Rate × area
Bags = ⌈Total ÷ bag size⌉
Assumptions & limits
- Nutrient % from the label (e.g. urea 46% N; DAP 18-46-0).
- For P₂O₅/K₂O targets use the oxide percentage on the label.
Worked example
120 ÷ 0.46 = 260.9 kg/ha × 5 ha = 1,304 kg → 27 bags.
