Formula

Pages are classified by their headings: commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading.

Figures are read from text next to keywords such as gross weight, net weight, tare, CBM and pieces; the largest matching value is treated as the total.

Each figure is compared across documents; differences beyond rounding are flagged as issues.

Air chargeable = max(Gross, CBM × 167 kg); Sea W/M = max(Gross, CBM × 1000 kg); VGM = Gross + container tare (from B/L).

Assumptions & limits

  • Basic checks read text-based PDFs in your browser. Optional AI scan analysis reads document page images; up to 20 pages and 16 MB of rendered images per analysis.
  • AI analysis sends page images to Lovable AI with your consent and uses workspace credits. Extraction and summaries may be inaccurate; verify every detail against the original.
  • Air 167 kg/m³ and sea W/M 1,000 kg/m³ are standard ratios; your carrier's tariff may differ.
  • This checker compares figures only; it does not validate HS codes, customs data or legal compliance.

Worked example

A 5-page PDF: a 1-page invoice, a 2-page packing list and a 2-page B/L.

Net 850 kg and gross 900 kg agree across documents and 480 pcs match, so the status is “Consistent”.

The B/L's container tare gives VGM = 900 + 2,200 = 3,100 kg; sea W/M chargeable = max(900, 2.4 × 1000) = 2,400 kg.
